This quick survey is designed to help us anticipate the communities' interests so the assessment process can begin with identified topics, in addition to more general outreach. Community members can submit their thoughts anytime - before, or even after their local assessment.
Places We Love, Places that Need Love On-line Activity
Imagine your daily life ten years from now. What places do you play, shop, and spend time? What places are really special and already great today? What places could be great, with a little attention? Let us know ideas by placing a point on the interactive map. You can submit as many places as you want, just start a new form for each one. (NOTE: Responses with offensive or inappropriate language or photos will not be posted to the website.)

Assets/Opportunities Facilitation Guide
This workshop is designed as one of the initial types of input opportunities during the City’s Community Planning Area (CPA) assessments. When you think about what you see, what stands out as an asset – something you value, something you love seeing or doing, maybe something that could be leveraged to encourage more good things in your community? What do you see that could be better?
Concentric Rings
What aspects of your community are most important to you? What questions do you think the Planning Department should ask as your CPA assessment begins?
Draw out priorities to inform the CPA process by sharing stories about your favorite places and things to do. The conversation can last as long as you like, most groups take about an hour.
Places We Love, Places that Need Love Group Activity
What places in your neighborhood are really special? What places could be special if they got the attention they deserved?
Talk about different places in your neighborhood with your family and friends. Think about your daily life and the places where you play, shop, and spend time. Then let us know what you all think! This input will help inform the CPA process by identifying special places in each community.
Miro is an online tool that provides a collaborative work space that operates as a digital whiteboard. So far, we've used this tool for gathering community input about assets and opportunities as well as sorting through these ideas to see what's already available in existing resources or processs vs. what recommendations should be made to address gaps and meet community priorities.
